You can always track your vehicle’s trips across the company’s geofences in many different ways, mentioning but not limited to, Trips page, Geofence Vehicle Report, and vehicle history explorer.
After drawing the company’s geofences on the system, you can find out the moment vehicles enter/exit this geofence by creating a “Geofence Entry and Exit” alarm condition, which in turn will trigger an alarm the moment a particular vehicle enters a specific geofence as per the conditions applied to vehicles and geofence.
on the other hand, you can find those transitions in the “Geofence Vehicle Report” report which reflects the results of the “Geofence Entry and Exit” alarm condition. N.B. we will not have results in the report without the alarm.
The report can calculate the speed, distance, and duration inside the geofence if and only if the alarm condition is configured to monitor the entry and exit of the geofence.
For accurate report results, Please make sure of the following:
- The geofence is created before creating the alarm condition.
- The generated alarm condition is “Geofence Entry and Exit” and that both the vehicle and the geofence have included.
- There are alarms fired when the vehicle enters/exits the geofence within the specified time Range.
- No modifying/removing: Geofences, Alarm conditions, and changing vehicle levels within the specified time Range.
